About Dr. Brenda
Dr. Brenda Ku is dedicated to providing high-quality, effective care for the whole body. She uses a combination of adjustment techniques—including drop table, Activator, and diversified styles—along with innovative muscle and fascia therapies, nutrition guidance, and exercise therapy to support optimal health, peak performance, and injury recovery. Dr. Brenda specializes in treating athletes, pregnant women, children, seniors, and EDS patients, tailoring her approach to each individual’s unique needs. Her goal is to create a space where patients feel safe, heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journeys.
Dr. Brenda earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic from University of Western States. She has advanced training in Webster Technique for pregnancy care, Graston Technique, Active Release Technique and Cupping for soft tissue therapy, and Kinesio Taping. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Boston College. She taught vinyasa yoga for nearly 20 years.
Originally from a nomadic childhood, Dr. Brenda has called Portland home since 1997. She and her husband are parents to two daughters who are competitive swimmers and basketball players. If they’re not at a pool or gym, they’re traveling as much as they can around the PNW or the world. Good food, friends, sunshine and laughter keep her grounded.

About Kathleen
Kathleen is a national board-certified acupuncturist. She received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2007. She also holds an Associate in Arts degree in Physical Therapy and she brings over 25 years of experience working in acute care, in-patient and out-patient, spine and neurological patient populations.
She has been recognized as one of Portland's Top Acupuncturists by Portland Monthly Magazine’s Top Doctors List for 2024 and 2025. She strives to bridge Eastern and Western medical perspectives and encourages a team approach to optimal wellness. She has a strong emphasis on education and will teach you how to listen and understand your bodily complaints. She blends acupuncture with body work, utilizes cupping and gua sha for myofascial release, as well as moxa and nutritional herbs and supplements as suits each specific condition. She has great solutions for both acute and nagging chronic pain from unresolved injuries, postural challenges, and repetitive motions. Whatever guides you to acupuncture, Kathleen brings an emphatic, inquisitive and non-judgmental approach to her treatments, creating a space for healing that meets each individual.
When Kathleen is not in the clinic, she loves a good road trip to explore the trails, lakes, rivers, and coast of the Pacific Northwest.

About Dr. Sarah
Dr. Sarah Trotta is a Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist who believes deeply in the power of listening and meeting each patient exactly where they are. She developed Rheumatoid Arthritis as a child, which led her to discover integrative medicine at an early age and inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others navigate complex health challenges. She earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in East Asian Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, followed by completing a residency in Naturopathic Primary Care and Five Element Acupuncture. She has completed post-doc training in advanced fertility support, as well as acupuncture to support those undergoing IUI/IVF.
Collaboration is at the heart of Dr. Sarah’s approach. She enjoys working closely with other providers and specialists so her patients receive truly comprehensive care. She is especially passionate about supporting patients with chronic illness and autoimmunity, and helping individuals and families of all genders on their fertility and parenting journeys.
Dr. Sarah is also trained in a number of therapeutic bodywork techniques, including: Acupuncture, Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT)®, Holistic Pelvic Care™ (a version of pelvic floor physical therapy), Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Integrative Visceral Techniques. She loves to weave these techniques into her treatment plans with patients.
Dr. Sarah moved from the Bay Area to Portland in 2005, and has been here ever since! She lives with her spouse and two elementary aged kiddos, two dogs, and two cats, and loves to explore the Pacific Northwest by foot, bike and paddleboard. She will occasionally dabble in homemade sourdough.

About Leah
Leah approaches each body as a whole to help her clients move towards their treatment goals while reducing stress and physical discomfort. She listens well and communicates clearly, allowing her to customize each session of bodywork to serve her client’s current needs. Leah is certified in prenatal massage and works safely and effectively with women in any stage of pregnancy. She is also skilled in using a variety of therapeutic techniques to treat injuries ranging from acute to chronic, and adept at finding a balance between nurturing and therapeutic touch. Her practice includes classic Swedish massage, myofascial release, proprioceptive nerve retraining, Shiatsu and rhythmic mobilization, depending on what her client – and her client’s body – is asking for.
